The Church at the Crossroads...

St.Luke's Christian Community Church

a United Church of Christ congregation

Special COVID-19 Update

We continue in unprecedented times. Many people are anxious, fearful and distracted. I encourage everyone to be prudent, use social distance, self-isolate when possible, and wash hands regularly. Please take care of yourselves, your families, and anyone who is vulnerable in health.

As a continuing response, our church will remain closed until this health emergency passes. Our church also has a St. Luke's Church Facebook page, where I am posting daily prayers, online services, and my printed sermon blog. Here's the link:

We will continue to be a light for our community, and a source of prayer and pastoral care for anyone who needs it (while keeping a distance of six feet, of course!) If anyone would like prayer or assistance, you may certainly contact me at the St. Luke's Church Facebook page, or email me at elizajon@aol.com.

UPDATE: FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON - Resume safe in-person service on 8/16/2020 pending moderate temperature.  With an up to date knowledge, we will continue to be open to the changes as necessary.  In the meantime, please use every precaution to be safe, wear face mask, distance seating and wipe down your seat before and after with supplies provided in the narthex.  ANYONE WITH HIGH RISK OR SIMPLY NOT FEELING SAFE TO ATTEND, FB Online videos are still available for you as you wish.

Please continue to take extra care of yourselves, your families, and anyone who is fragile in health. St. Luke's Church continues to respond to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
